This is a One Day Event to help prepare our Camp at Horsethief Reservoir for the upcoming season! You will break into groups that will work on the following projects around camp: * Cleaning cabins * Trail maintenance * Program area setup * Lodge cleaning and setup * Barn cleaning and setup Lunch will be provided by camp at ~12:30 Continue projects as needed in the afternoon. The time will be Saturday, April 12th from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Responsibilities include: * Assist with cleaning camp lodging. * Assist with setting up program areas including Archery range, waterfront, high elements, arts and crafts, etc. * Assist with general grounds maintenance, trail clearing. Preferred Skills: *General cleaning and/or maintenance skills. *Light landscaping. *Use of housekeeping equipment such as floor cleaner, carpet cleaner, vacuum. *Trail maintenance. Volunteer Training and Orientation: Volunteers will be oriented on the day of the event and staff members and advisory board members will direct their tasks throughout the day.
