Join CBH Homes and The Treasure Valley YMCA in the inaugural Hearts Across the Valley Love Run! We need volunteers to help make this day as memorable as possible. Volunteer Positions available: Packet Pick Up Volunteers – Friday February 13th *Location: TBD Be the first to wish the runners good luck. Hand out race packets, swag and answer questions about the event. Come for a two hour shift or stay the whole time! All instructions and computers will be provided, and staff members will be on site to help guide & answer questions. Volunteer Responsibilities: • Help with participant check-in and late registrations • Hand out t-shirts & swag • Assign bib numbers to participants • Learn the courses and answer questions about the maps and instructions --------------------------------------------------- Race Day Volunteers – Saturday February 14th *Location: Ann Morrison Park We are looking for volunteers for all areas of the event from the starting line to the finish line, and everything in between. Groups are welcome, some positions are limited!. Volunteer Responsibilities: • Race Day Participant Check-In and Packet Pick Up / Results • Set up and/or tear down race equipment & supplies • Course monitoring (helping direct runners where to turn along the course) • Starting Line and/or Finish Line Support - Helping participants get to their respective race groups - Giving directions to participants and parents - Handing out water bottles, medals, etc at the finish

This is a general conversation to find out why you want to be a Volunteer and what areas of interest you have. This is also to ensure that we find the right volunteer opportunity to match what you are seeking! After this, you will have the following requirements to complete. This includes a standard background check and 3 references. Additionally, Child Abuse Prevention Training for Volunteers is required - which you can do from your Volunteer Registration. When all is done, you will be ready to be an official YMCA Volunteer!

Busy Bees Engagement Specialist: This is intended to engage with the youth of KidZone in leading songs, dances, movements, games and art. Seeking those volunteers who have experience working with children aged 2 - 6.
