Our first annual Thanksgiving Leftovers race is here- and we need volunteers to help make this day as memorable as possible! ***Volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts. If you have more/less availability than what the shift lists please let us know. Specific instructions for each shift will come ~1 week prior to the event, from a YMCA email so please keep an eye on your inbox!*** --------------------------------------------- Volunteer Positions available: Race Day Volunteers – Saturday November 28th *Location: Ann Morrison Park We are looking for volunteers for all areas of the event from the starting line to the finish line, and everything in between. Groups are welcome, some positions are limited!. Volunteer Responsibilities: • Race Day Participant Check-In and Packet Pick Up / Results • Set up and/or tear down race equipment & supplies • Course monitoring (helping direct runners where to turn along the course) • Starting Line and/or Finish Line Support - Helping participants get to their respective race groups - Giving directions to participants and parents - Handing out water bottles, medals, etc at the finish
